4 button DuoTherm Comfort Controller

I am in need of a new/used 4 button controller. DuoTherm does not make these any more and I would have to upgrade to the 5 button one which would require me to also change out the boards in the a/c unit. $$$$$ :(

RE: Vehicle insurance and homebase (mailbox) in SD

We are with MyDakotaAddess and even with the extra wheel tax the mail service cost per year overall was cheaper then the rest.

RE: Sinking Kitchen Sink

The problem with under counter fasteners is that we can not drill into the counter top. I have been advised by Doubletree that they now use clips that are also glued using a special glue gun in addition to the glue on the sink.
Inasmuch as we are still under warranty they will provide a fix for the problem and we can take the unit to a RV repair shop of our choice. Having said that does anyone have a recommendation for a good repair shop in the Salt Lake City area.

Sinking Kitchen Sink

We have a problem Houston. It seems that a lot of Doubletree owners (mine also) have a problem with there stainless steel kitchen sinks which are glued to the underside of the Corian counter lose the adhesive and separate and sink. Doubletree uses a product called "Silex". Inasmuch as this does not seem to work can anyone here provide a better product that does work.

RE: Chimny RV Park Resort - Mission, TX

Well.. after inquiring at several rv parks in the mission area we found that most were 20 - 25 ft wide which we hate. We decided to take our chance and got the last premium lot which is 45 ft wide and has a concrete patio. Also imho the price was right for what you get.

RE: TrailAir

I have a line on a used TrailAir pin-box. Its the correct one for my application (direct bolt-on). My question is that I only have around 500#s of stated hitch weight (not sure this extended pin is the original supplied hitch, so actual could be slightly more).
I'm getting a jarring ride, even though its only 5000 pounds. I am thinking that what I am experiencing is the fact my hitch weight isn't enough to actually compress the springs of my 2500 to smooth things out (this camper is designed to be towed with a 1/2 ton truck). Sorta compressing the springs down just enough to contact the overloads, and that is causing the jouncing. I can actually watch the camper cycling up/down.
Will an air-ride pin work with that light of a tongue weight? Will it be worth the effort?
I have the TrailAir and I am also experiencing the jarring/bucking with my set up. I am working with Lippert Ind on this problem and hopefully will get it resolved or I will get rid of it.

RE: Oil Change\ Onan Marqus Gold 7500\ What kind of Oil?

Use API (American Petroleum Institute) performance Class SJ, SH or SG
Single-grade SAE 30 oil is preferable when temperatures are consistently above freezing. Multigrade oils are better when wide temperature variations are
expected.

RE: Pulling a Mobile Suites

I have a Mobile Suite 36TK3 which I pull with a F450 and just weighed it. The pin weight is 3760 and the total combined weight is 25100 which is 100 lbs over :). I would not even consider pulling this with anything less then what I already have.

RE: Tricare Terms Confusion - Military Retirees

I'm not concerned about emergency care - as you said that is not a problem either way. What I am talking about is for example - it is time for an annual physical and we won't be back to Florida for another 9 months, or husband has to have bloodwork done to check that prescription medication is doing what it is supposed to be doing. How do you handle that with Tricare Prime when you are out of your 'region'. Does anyone have their Primary Care Manager (PCM) give a referral to a Tricare provider in another 'region'? I have to believe that would be a paperwork fiasco billing between network regions.
I would ask your primary care provider for those answers.

RE: Trail/Air pin

I recently got my 5'ver with the trail/air and after hitching up I filled the air bag to the arrow however, when I pull down the road the truck bucks. I let some of the air out and seems better but not great. Guess I will have to play with it and find out what the best combination might be. BTW I never had this problem towing my TS that has no trail/air. Maybe it has something to do with the weight. :)
